Our small white terraced cottage, not far from Glencoe, is bright and pretty inside. Refurbished, new kitchen, and new bathroom.

It sleeps four in 2 bedrooms but the settee in the lounge opens out into more beds -  if you don’t mind acute discomfort from overcrowding.

Ok for occasional, thin, small visitors.

Shop 2 miles. The finest restaurant and bar meals in the entire area are just within walking distance. Famous climber’s pub up the road.

Gillian worries that I’ve made the view too attractive. It is very beautiful but just imagine it with the occasional hour of horizontal rain.

This is the hamlet of Kentallen about ten minutes drive from Glencoe. The mountain on the right is Beinn ‘A  Bheithir, pronounced “Vair” a 3,000 foot Munro. This lovely photograph was taken by Bill McKenzie in October. Onich is in the far distance. Bills photographs on Flickr
