WALKING GLENCOE’S MUNROS*  IN WINTER AND SUMMER

One of our experienced high level residents had this to say of the Munros in our area. “There is ample high walking without climbing in the area. Most have well trodden paths. The only point is, some have open exposure, a narrow arete where there might be a short distance where you walk and it is a steep drop on both sides. Makes it more exciting.”

Argyll peaks are outstanding.

Within the narrow confines of Glencoe, you can do 22 Munros. From the cottage you can easily do 8 Munros in a week and still have three days rest, golf, and cruising the Islands.
