Loch Sheil cruises 10% discounts
Loch Sheil is a magnificent loch. Your cruise starts at the Glenfinnan historical site, and you’ll be looking out for eagles. Walkers and cyclists can now explore this stunning, remote area, using Loch Sheil Cruises. If you ask, Jim Michie will give you 10% off if you have a family of four, but he will do this for our guests for a family of three. The boat is totally safe, so are the waters. Mull Wild Life tour throughout the year – this scheme saves nearly £19
You’ll save £18.90 on the ferry cost from Lochaline if you leave the car and go as foot passengers. Richard Atkinson will pick up our guests at the Fishnish side and drop you back. He’ll take a party even out of season, if there are four people. £34 each. It takes you 40 minutes to get to Lochaline via the Corran ferry. You need to arrange it with him, obviously. During the day he’ll give you a fabulous tour of the wild life on this renowned Island. .The wild life on Mull is renowned.
The Ice Factor in Kinlochleven Beginners rates
Gillian and I know The Ice Factor in Kinlochleven well. We just go there when it rains, to just watch and have coffee. It is also the only place to give you a pizza unil 11.00 at night. With instruction: 2 ½ hours on the ice will cost you normally £45. You can have a taster session on the ice wall or on the rock wall for £30 each if there are three of you. Off- season offer: 1. Book 3 people onto a instructed ice class get 4th person free - offer does not apply at weekends/holiday periods. 2. Buy 2 adult meals in our bistro and get 1 kids meals free
Free coffee at Crafts and Things
The team at David Coopers traditional Croft House is tremendous, the service is very good indeed, however long the queue, it does not take long. You'll see everyone in there. The occasional film star, television personalities, all the locals, everyone is treated as if they are normal. Ask for the discount card usually given to locals. They’ll give you a free coffee for every 8 you order. For Gillian and me, we get a lot of free coffee
Free Live Music at the Clachaig
It is the best bar meal in the area, not expensive and on Wednesdays and Saturdays in the season they have a live group in the Climbers Bar. You might need to check first. This bar is famous all over the world. All the climbing greats, the Everest pioneers and to-days tigers, have been there.
Low self catering rates at Bayview, Kentallen
Our off season rates are £245 for a week 4 sharing that is £6 night each. Also you can book short breaks from November, until the end of April. You have to read it to believe it.
