The brilliant new ice and rock climbing indoor centre – go and visit, it is exciting just to watch. The IceFactor in Kinlochleven. Good on a damp day.
There is Karting in Ft. William. Or try the other direction towards Oban. Turn right at Benderloch watch for signs to Tralee. Karting there.
Very good childrens park in Ft. William. Bouncy Castle, slides, ten pin bowling. In the leisure centre there is an indoor climbing wall, big swimming pool, squash – all the usual. You can hire bikes in Inverlochy.
At the Nevis Range gondola you’ll find paraglider flights, climbing and mountaineering. Walking up there too. By the Caledonian Canal you can hire bikes or canoes.
Alternatively go through Glencoe to the White Corries ski lifts. Skiing and walking up there.
White-water canoeing, kayaking, abseiling, windsurfing, and motor boat hire, at Monster Activities. Phew, that’s enough energy for one day.
